[ RadSafe ] The republic

It was President Eisenhower who added the phrase 'one nation under God'.
Perhaps it was because we had fought two deadly wars where many people died.
For those who don't remember ( or weren't born yet) it was World War II and
the Korean War, he felt it was necessary. The USA is a Democratic Republic,
made up of 46 States and 4 Commonwealths, although there are those who want
to change it is and the way we vote. There are those who wish to eliminate
the Senate and only have one House.

I realize this subject may not have anything to do with Radiation Safety,
but I'm adding my 2 cents. Harry Reid is responsible for Yucca Mountain
being stopped, after billions were spent.
