[ RadSafe ] One's occupation, religion, personal likes/dislikes is NOT adding value to any Radsafe discussion

The discussion should evolve around the topic, the facts provided and any reference data. The debate is then on these factors. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't care if the dialogue is between concepts, facts, paradigms that I agree with or disagree with. That is the purpose of the dialogue to dissect. As Bill Cosby one said, "I'm sick and tired" of the continual personal attacks on individuals who hold a different perspective. The first post out of some here is to attack the individual, not about the facts, but how do they make their living, where did they go to school. I personally don't give a rat's a** about any of that. If I am interested, I'll do a Google search and if I don't find anything, so be it. That isn't what Radsafe is all about.

I think too many on this list as well as in everyday life simply need to learn that you can attack ideas, just don't attack the individual and make it personal. Some here simply need to grow up! If posts really upset you that badly, then don't read the posts, don't respond to the posts, don't say anything. Too often there will be complaints that this isn't on topic, yet these individuals continue to post anecdotes about everything that have nothing to do with the topic, taking up bandwidth and my time as well as others. Is there a difference!

Regards,

Sandy
