[ RadSafe ] Swabbing the Bonnet (hood)

They used to have bubble calibrators (I think we might still have one in
our store room) that used a graduated cylinder with connections so you
could draw a vacuum (or create an over-pressure) and move the film by a
precise amount, sweeping out a known volume.  However, I would happily
give up a certain amount of precision in exchange for blowing and
popping big bubbles.  Sometimes sacrifices have to be made.
