Chris,
Almiost decades ago I saw a film about the SL1-accident privately with a few collegues at my ministry. I am sure that I recall correctly that it was from an authorized and official US source. It had been loaned from the IAEA and was on those old fashioned film rolls. We had several more films about the effects of nuclear weapons, all authentic and very interesting.
Maybe you should contact the IAEA?
Best regards and I wish you success in your investigations!

The one "offered" by Radiationworks.com is apparently what I was speaking of, though there is no obvious way to order it, nor to contact the site's owner other than an unencrypted form on a webpage.
