I would be inclined to use Monitor de Puerta. Puerta is a doorway. At a
port it could be Monitor de Puerto.

Subject: [ RadSafe ] Spanish translation of two words

Dear Spanish-speaking Radsafe colleagues,

Can anyone offer a translation for the words "portal monitor" and
"handheld detector?"

I don't want to trust this to Google Translate which returns: "portal del
monitor" and "detector de mano"

I would like to know the exact words radiation professionals use.

Thank you so much in advance!

Armin Ansari
