Paul, Chris,
After having read Chris Busby's messages for many weeks I am not so sure, whether you both are joking or are serious.
Chris, did you fall for the widespread antinuclear propaganda or where do you take 25REM (whatever this is in the international SI units) from? I can tell you from my own personal experience as the head of the terrestrial working group of the IAEA Mururoa Project, that we have been doing sampling and measurements also in zones heavily contaminated by plutonium. We were "paid" 40 US$ per day, which was just enough to call my children on vacation in Finland. I dislike very much your attitude to reduce Japan to "sushi" and "sake", which is one of the typical arrogant generalisation, which is shown by so called "Westerners". There is more than that in Japan!!!
The same is true for "Go". Where do you take the 200 REM from, Rubin? I hope you are joking, but the question is whethzer something like the Fukushima accident is suitable for jokes, not to talk about the tsunami victims..
Anyway, best regards,
Franz

I thought Dr. Ray Johnson put together a well done presentation. Link below.
