I notice that they are using filters and detecting I-131. I would be very interested n discussing the effectiveness of filters for I-131. I know this is not the standard and recommended method. However, it is difficult to pull very large volumes of air through activated charcoal, and here at Los Alamos we are not at present equipped to do high-vol sampling with activated charcoal.
