Don,
As far as my closing question, have to admit I have a birth defect. I've
been diagnosed as suffering from extreme TIC syndrome. TIC=
Tongue-In-Cheek. This is odd, since many have told me I am insufferable.

Stewart,
For those with a strong drive (perceived need?) to gratify their egos, there
is no such thing as PETTY ego gratification. That is especially true when
such folk have no other viable way of gratifying their egos.
I am a bit puzzled by your closing question. Reality that has existed and
continues to exist at this moment is certainly a possible thing.

These extremist interests would have society
squander over $1 trillion by shutting down a beneficial technology like
today's worldwide nuclear electric generation capacity, for their petty
ego gratification and financial interests. Is such a thing possible?
