One of many-many-good reasons for choosing depleted uranium penetrators for
our armor-piercing munitions was the huge cost advantage over its
alternatives. Why would anyone want to go to a different isotopic mix of
uranium at many-many times the cost for no change in performance????
(Neither one has enough radioactivity to notice). But, if you like make
anti-American speeches, the new buzz word floating about from Iranian
disputes is "enriched, and it's scarier!!!
