[ RadSafe ] Very serious question - please answer!

Mark: You have hit the nail on the head. Dr Busby is very adept at working
the news media. And of course, there are sufficient people in the media who
prefer a "horror story" to boring scientific facts (when last did you hear a
"happy story" in the news - apart from the proverbial puppy that got shipped
to the other end of the earth and made it home safely <G> ) .
Even better if you can cloth your horror story with pseudo-science. No need
for fact checking or peer review: just find a vague reference and stretch
the association to fit your story. Confounders? What are they? (oh yes: they
are the industry experts who tell "lies" to protect their industry)

Rather than decrying his success in the media, a number of professionals
(with real credentials) should step up to the plate and start a media
"blitz" of facts........

Doug

But many just cannot help responding can they !! I also think the fact that
this chap is getting significant limelight (RT etc etc ) bugs many too.
Better at working PR than many in the nuclear industry perhaps?!
