Hi Patricia,

This Research Gate issue reminds me to these charlatans who have frequently bothered RADSAFE and all the other ones. They claim that they have found out (by mass media publication about the horrors of Fukushima or Chernobyl) about the deadly consequences. (Yes, the deathtoll of the tsunami is estimated to 16 000...., the death toll at the nuclear power plants were three or four. all not radiation related.)

Now all those wannabe "scientists" and charlatans like Chris Busby and the Tooth Fairy Project and similar ones should get a forum to distribute their unfounded, ridiculous and wrong opinions world wide???? No, No, No.
I have some experience with the quality of "scientific papers", because I have done quite a lot of peer reviews for well established journals in the field of radiation. I have rejected about 80% of them, because they were absolutely unacceptable - like analysing one fish and extrapolating to a population of several thousand sq-km2. This is only one extreme example but I could tell you more. Those "papers" would have been distributed on the internet if this"Research Gate" would have existed then.

I caution everybody to "publish" on this "Research gate", because nobody will take this "publication" for serious. Please read the complaints on their website.

To me it seems that somebody, who was not successful in his studies tried to establish another business - and since IT is a heaven for persons who failed in other studies, he chose this. It is "fashion" to work in this business. I disdain suc h people.

No I will not consult such papers.

Best wishes - maybe your radon mine will be next on their agenda?

Franz
