Job Requirements/Skills

*         In-depth familiarity with Tennessee State Regulations for Protection Against Radiation and the Federal equivalent documents

*         Thorough understanding of practical health physics and regulatory compliance program implementation

*         Familiar with commercial reactor plant components and associated source term

*         Knowledge and experience implementing rad material transportation and packaging regulations

*         Knowledge and experience HIS-20 dosimetry system

*         Knowledge and experience with radiological engineering/dose modeling software

*         Communication skills, both written and oral

*         Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Education:

*         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Science or related field

*         Minimum of 10 years practical experience with HP program implementation.

*         3 years of experience as RSO

*         CHP and/or NRRPT certifications preferred

*         Knowledge of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act and supporting regulations

*         Familiarity with regulatory expectations for various CNSC license types

*         Comprehensive computer Knowledge (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio etc.)

*         Strong interpersonal and communication skills

*         Capable of giving presentations to an audience

*         Good command of spoken and written english

Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements

*         Education: Master's degree required (or equivalent diploma or certification) in Health Physics or comparable science

*         Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years working in an operational radiation protection environment

*         Certifications: Full Driving License.  Passport.  Membership of an accredited Radiation Protection Association
