Dear Group:

Since I am a geologist not a Health Physicist, I have not been formally
trained in the later except for extensive work on WIPP (I wrote part of the
groundwater modeling package), Yucca Mountain (Site Characterization Report
Peer Review), and a re-write of the GENII code to model radiological
exposure from natural radionuclides, various uranium / nuclear waste
management projects in Central Europe, remediation strategies for the
contaminated territories around Chernobyl, uranium mining in Central Asia,
etc. I have had formal training (graduate work) in radiological issues such
as all aspects of nuclear waste management, transportation, etc. as well as
geophysics / radiation in the natural environment including geochemical
modeling.

I would appreciate a list of what you consider "essential" bibliographic
references in Health Physics such as what Otto G. Raabe and Maury & Dog
have suggested along with pdfs (or hyperlinks).

Thank you in advance!

Dan ii
