Hi Franz

It's because she is an MD, I reckon.

Cheers

Roger and all other RADSAFERs,

I would like to seriously ask you to enlighten me on the question of
using academic titles - everybody on RADSAFE should know that I am not
a native speaker.  I was always used to be addressed by my US - and
all English speaking friends by my first name and vice versa.
Fortunately nobody used any of my many titles (which I regard
ridiculous). May I ask why this Helen Caldicott and similar persons
are always cited with "Dr"? Especially when their "Dr" is not at all
linked to radiation protection.

Any enlightening comment is welcome! Thanks!

Franz
