He definitely doesn't seem bothered by such trivial things as trying to
not be wrong. It is beyond refute that none of the reactors "actually
melted totally". The reactors are large structures, and it is clear
that the "totally" of any one of them did not melt. It is likely that
at least some of the fuel in the cores of the reactors melted, though
even that may have been less than originally thought, based on what was
seen from the released contamination (it will be years before that is
known with certainty).

It's a real shame that Kaku uses his doctorate to mislead the world.
I guess he is the new Busby in training. He is younger, is he not?
Coast-to-Coast sadly is very widely broadcast on radio stations around
the country. Kaku fits right in with the kind of nuts like Doug Rokke
associate Joyce Riley that George Noori interviews as a matter of
course. He should be held accountable for the grossly bad science
fiction that he routinely broadcasts as being science fact.

But the Fukushima reactor actually melted totally.

graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University in 1968 and was first
in his physics class. He attended the Berkeley Radiation Laboratory at
the University of California, Berkeley and received a Ph.D. in 1972.
The dissertation subject seems to have nothing to do with nuclear
