Well, the apple certainly doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?
 Andrew's father Mario was responsible for shuttering Shoreham and creating
LIPA.  Doing so bequeathed to Long Islanders some of the highest
electricity rates in the country, and saddled them with the rickety and
unreliable infrastructure that left so many in the cold and dark for weeks
following Sandy.  Andrew would do his old man one better by condemning
Manhattan and Westchester to the same fate.  The laws of physics are just
no match for a politician's ambition.
