I was born and raised in Michigan and see nothing that special about this region
that would prclude nuclear waste  burial in this area ---as would be the case in
just about any other region.  The existence of toxic, hazardous, radioactive
and/or other hazardous materials in deep geologic formations, of either natural
or anthropic origin is nothing new. Mankind has evolved and exists with this
reality. The only "new" reality is the insane attitudes toward such phenemena
which have recently developed.
