How ironic, Mr. Rees you may be able to get yellowcake from what I believe
is the yellowcake facility that you watched be dismantled at the ARCO
Bluewater Mill in Grants, NM between 1987 and 1989. It may have all ready been
gone by the time you started work there. I believe that facility was
re-built at the White Mesa Mill in Blanding Utah but never or only operated for
a short period of time in the 90,s. Could it be?

Brian,
No operating mills in Colorado at the moment, but there's one in Utah
(Denison/White Mesa Mill near Blanding) and one in Wyoming (Smith Ranch near
Casper).

Subject: [ RadSafe ] Fresh Yellowcake sample

I'm interested in obtaining a freshly separated sample (about 500 gm) of
yellowcake. The younger the better (like within days of separation).
It'd be shipped to Los Alamos National Laboratory, a DOE/NNSA U.S.
Government facility, so licensing issues are easy.
We're quite willing to pay market price, shipping, etc.

If you can help, please contact me:

Thanks,
Brian Rees
Los Alamos National Laboratory
