Not directly related to your inquiry, but there has been a series of Radiochemistry webinars (available via video or download of the presentation) through the NAMP (National Analytical Management Program).
National Analytical Management Program
https://inlportal.inl.gov/portal/server.pt/community/namp/745

Since May, the series has been more focused on techniques/data validation/etc related to environmental sampling and bioassay.

Is there such a thing as a tome of radiochemistry/analytical techniques for generic assessment of environmental samples? Looking at things such as seawater, sediments, marine biota?

Looking at trying to establish baseline levels of radioactivity, input sources would be both man-made and potential enhanced natural radioactivity from industrial processes.
