Marshall,
Try giving Skip Snyder a call at Snyder Geoscience Inc 970-254-0330 or email him at skips at bresnan.net
Skip use to work for Mt Sopris way back when (although that may not be when enough) and he may be of help in tracking someone down if he doesn't have any direct knowledge himself.

Subject: [ RadSafe ] Mt. Sopris . . . and Scintillators?
Any old timers or others with access to old timers libraries:
Any information such as MANUALS or ADVERTISEMENTS or SCHEMATICS or INSTRUMENTS or ACCESSORIES for these exceptionally well made products from the MOUNT SOPRIS INSTRUMENT CO. of DELTA, COLORADO?
I have contacted the company and have been informed that the designers of these sturdy scintillators have long been gone from the scene and left little info behind as the present operations are no longer manufacturing such devices!
