[ RadSafe ] Graphic: 900-mile-long "front" of most contaminated water from Fukushima Daiichi moving across Pacific toward U.S., Canada (VIDEO)

Considering that water in the Pacific circulates via currents and all
that it seems implausible that a "900-mile-long front" would remain so
well-defined after 2 years.

Not only that, but ocean currents have a flow speed - 3 miles per hour
(5 kph) is not unreasonable to assume. A year has 8760 hours, so two
years has 17,520 hours. Even flowing at 2 mph we find that the current
will have moved 35,000 miles - almost 1/5 times the Earth's diameter at
the equator.

So... if there's a "front" moving across the Pacific then it's already
done at least one lap and is coming back a second (or third) time. More
likely that this is utter BS.

The presenter is supposed to be an established scientist, but when he
is presented by the Helen Caldicott Foundation, one would wonder if it
is really science. This link in this leads to two days worth of
presentations in NY.
