Hi Franz,

The current thought is a combination of Pb from the gloves, AnNOx and the organic kitty litter reacted to blow up a drum.

The blowing up of the drum spread the actinide contamination. They do know which drum blew up.

The cause is still somewhat speculative.

Should I really believe that the US radiation specialists are not able to determine the source of a contamination? I have been able with my former laboratory to determine all kind of unknown contamination from tritium, C-14, Sr-90 on various media. Not to talk about the Chernobyl fallout, the remains of the nuclear explosions at Mururoa etc. As well we were extremely active in cases like indoor radon and Po-210.
