Good afternoon and MSDS stands for Material Safety Data Sheets. Under the new Global Harmonization System (GHS), it's now known as Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

Subject: [ RadSafe ] Lithium Fluoride hazard
To: "The International Radiation Protection (Health Physics) Mailing List" <radsafe at health.phys.iit.edu> Hello all, I have recently gotten a question from a group who makes dosimeters, regarding hazards involving Lithium Fluoride. They work with the power form and have concerns about its toxicity, specifically teratogenic effects. Does anyone know if this is really a hazard, at what quantities it might be a hazard, and if any lab safety equipment such as hoods, is required for its use?
Any help would be appreciated.
