".....And there's a 50:50 chance of a Three Mile Island-scale  disaster in the next 10 years, according to the largest statistical  analysis of nuclear accidents ever undertaken........"

So, if the chance of a TMI accident in 10 years is 50:50, the chance of another TMI since 1979 is 0.91, given a roughly constant population of reactors since then. Guess we've just been lucky.
