In reply to Randy Redmonds email re: accumulation on supply fan filters, I have not had experience on supply fan filters, but during a close-out survey, I once did get high beta/gamma counts on a return air duct electronic air cleaner and filter in an air conditioned laboratory.  I didn’t bother to identify the isotopes because the client directed me to package the filter and electronic air cleaner and ship them along with the rest of the radwaste.  I was surprised by the high counts on the air cleaner because the lab (other than the fume hoods and everything in them) was otherwise clean as a whistle.
