Point Beach 198something. Plasma cutting SG legs a considerable time after shutdown (can't remember how long). Significant iodine problem and no charcoal in the portable HEPA units.

PWR Steam Generator Replacement Projects

Hello,

I am interested in incidents, caveats, lessons learned, etc., related to
ALARA, radiation shielding, radiation exposure (i.e., dose), and
decontamination issues associated with steam generator replacement
activities. For instance; any lessons learned examples where there were
shortcomings in the ALARA plan, unexpected issues with temporary radiation
shielding, significant deviations in actual versus estimated doses for
specific tasks, decontamination issues (equipment or personnel) and
recommendations for alternative means of decontamination. Any information
that you are able to share on these topics would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Anthony
