Anyone aware of technology which can be used to tag the location of radioactive sources left in remote areas and display the position on a GIS type system? Thinking specifically of gauging devices used in remote area of oil/gas industry, where they are left without significant security controls. The system could provide warning of loss /removal or integrity issues with the source.
