I don't think that the headline is really accurate and is misleading since
to me it implies that there is is a continuing high flow of radioactive
particles into the sea. Perhaps some of you might like to comment to the
NY Times Editor about this. The article, on the other hand, seems fairly
good and thorough. It even somewhat refutes the headline by saying - "the
plant also releases 2,000 tons of the water into the ocean every week after
a process that removes most, but not all, of the radioactive particles".
It then goes on to say that some environmentalists are concerned and that
nearby fishing grounds are still closed.
