Hey Roger,

I don’t find the radiation dose, of more than 9 gray, to be "staggering" at all, considering proximity to the blast hypocenter.  What is your overall take on the LiveScience website?

This article is by Brazilian scientist who first reported on this in the 70's and now has improved tools to garner more information about how much radiation this casualty at Hiroshima's jaw bone received not far from ground zero.
