I recall your passionate appeal against LNT. I recall the way forward you
suggested. The last sentence in your article was:
 "let me say that not too many people read *Dose Response*, but a lot of
people watch TV, listen to the radio, and read the newspaper. They need to
hear the truth, and we need to tell it."
I was in touch with some of the developments. I had some correspondence
with Drs Mohun Doss, Scott Bobby and others
I was  once very active as a science journalist. Now I am less active!

Looking at NRC's earlier approach to the arguments of the French Academy of
Sciences  I  am almost sure that they may not  probably act as per the
demands of SARI:

I had an unacknowledged role in bringing the conflicts of BEIR committee
and the French Academy to the attention of the  respective stake holders
and asking for some clarity for *regulators.* Professor Maurice Taubiana
wrote to me that they will write a few papers in journals. Indeed they
wrote them and send me copies.

I  reviewed  the important messages  on LNT etc in radsafe group. Exactly
two years ago I narrated the regulator's saga in an article(It summarizes
some of my encounters with different stake holders)
