[ RadSafe ] Cost of fear

I looked through this paper and see two problems:

-They know the result they want and are trying to prove it (Busby style).

-They have left out the obvious chemical/heavy metal confounders. The well known Woburn, Mass. childhood lukemia cluster was found to be due to organic solvents in the ground water from the dying industry in the area.

Adjustment for a range of potential confounders had little effect on the results.

if you wish to know more, I suggest you contact the authors.

the work of Alice Stewart was ground-breaking, to give another example. she describes how she and her team handled potential confounders
