Re: Optimal Radiation. Is it a number?
Jack,
Allow me to return:
It is a such coincidence that,
I have been looking on WWW.ROADWHORE.COM and talking with a few HP brokers
lately.
I am disagree with you on two points:
I see an increase in amount of decommissioning and demolition projects as an
indicator
of American Economy conditions. You see that as a change in political will.
Well, may be it is looks like that. This discussion is kind of " what was the
first egg or ..."
I think, it was Hen - Economy.
The second point:
You see limits development in a short perceptive, assuming that there won't
be changes in trends. Well, your point is valid from your personal
perspective.
Mine from mine. I think, there will be changes. There are always changes.
How Americans say: "Change is good"
Is there a third point?
The third point is beside from this subject.
Personally, I would suggest you to learn little about discussion culture.
I have learnt and continue learning that culture, it is really helpful.
Well, we'yal have bad hair days. No offense. I do have them too.
Smile, you are in the camera.
Respectfully,
Emil.

specialists, including certified HPs, are more in demand than ever for
decommissioning and demolition projects.

I agree with you somewhat, Franz, with regard to Emil's argument about
raising the limit. However, that is why I included the sociopolitical
challenges in my argument. Our protagonists are adamant that ALARA means
ALAP, in other words none is better some. Our protagonists have been
somewhat successful in swaying public and political opinion using emotional
arguments and the power of a sympathetic or profit motivated media.
Therefore, I find it doubtful that limits will be raised in the U.S.A in the
near future. That is why I perceive a demand for HP specialists now and in
the immediate future.
