Re: Radioactive tingle




I am not sure if anybody already has mentioned the "beta smell"
I had "smelled Chernobyl betas" as an ionization in the air, a lot of ozone. 
I do not remember the concentrations in the air. I could feel also how my 
eyes would get unusually tired after a few hours of being in the areas with 
air born beta activity or fixed table Sr-90 contaminations (no eye nor 
respirator protections)
My friend "smelled" such betas once, burnt his eyes ( EXTREME eyes light 
sensitivity for about a year) and in his mouth for many years after, with 
periodical improvements, I do not know how is he now. I hope he is well...
