A colleague has asked me to post a query regarding the use of
magnetite (sp?) for construction of room shielding for medical linear
accelerators. Has anyone experience of using this material?
Specifically the query was on the TVL of magnetite for photoneutrons and the
production of capture gammas in magnetite.
Any information gratefully received and will be passed
on.
