Re:Sr-90 background in soils and water

EPA's National Air and Radiation Environmental Laboratory ERAMS database
contains annual composite data for Sr-90 in drinking water from numerous
monitoring locations around the country. When you get into the ERAMS menu,
select only the data reports that correspond to the months of October through
December to find this data. Also, if you're ever interested in Sr-90 in milk,
they sample for that quarterly.

Can anyone out there supply me with information regarding background levels
of Sr-90 in soil and/or water. I am particularly interested in data derived
from the eastern U.S. Actual data or reference material would be
satisfactory.

Thanks,

T.C.
