In re the Barn Book,

  Description

Electronic publication of a comprehensive compilation of
neutron cross sections - an "electronic barn
book" - can be of immense value to the
practicing nuclear engineer, as well as in nuclear education
and training. This paper describes such a publication. The
files are published on compact disk-read-only memory
(CD-ROM), with automatic updating over the Internet. The
current version stores the curves graphically, but a future
version will take better advantage of the interactive
capabilities of electronic publishing by drawing the curves
from ACE files "on the fly."
