Re: PET QC
Charles
I shall take it that by "PET instrument" you mean a scanner. For PET,
specifically, I don't, right off. But the National Electrical
Manufacturer's Association (NEMA) publishes standards for nuc med cameras.
It's their #NU1-1994 - Performance Measurements of Scintillation Cameras.
All sorts of people contributed to its writing, e.g., physicists, docs, nuc
med techs; it's very much aimed at the needs of the endusers. There is a
synoptical essay, in the current J Nucl Med (Vol 41, #2, Feb 2000), on it.
You also might try calling one of the major vendors. ADAC Labs is at:
www.adaclabs.com.
Happy hunting
