Re:DCF

The CEDE conversion factors listed in the original posting are low by six orders
of magnitude. The correct values are 4.29 E8 rem/curie and 5.10 E8 rem/curie
(you may have meant rem/microcurie).

I did a quick run on the CINDY code and got a result of 4.4 E8 rem/curie for the
inhalation of Class-W Pu-239. It looks like FGR 11 and the CINDY code pretty
much agree on this one. I do not know the source or accuracy of the DOE/EH-0071
values.

Radsafers:
Does any one have an opinion regarding use of Committed Effective Dose
Equivalent conversion factor for Pu-239 (class W, inhalation) from FGR 11
and Radiological Health Handbook or from DOE/EH-0071. The values listed are
different 4.29E 2 rem/curie for FGR 11 and 5.10 E 2 rem/curie for
DOE/EH-0071.
