Looking for Remediation Bids.
Radsafers:
Colorado State University has a remediation opportunity for a company
regarding a contaminated room on campus. A closure plan for the room
has been submitted by CSU and accepted by the State of Colorado. This
plan must be followed by the remediation company (or team) when
performing these duties.
Colorado State University is soliciting bids from interested companies
to perform this work. The scope of the work involves dismantling a
large wooden structure within the room and removing it through a narrow
spiral staircase. A characterization study has been performed on the
room and has revealed tritium contamination over most of the room area.
Once the structure has been removed from the room, the remediation team
would be expected to decontaminate the room to release guidlines of the
State of Colorado.
If your company is interested, please contact me directly by email or at
the phone number listed below. I can provide you a copy of the closure
plan which must be used, by email. Colorado State University is eager
to complete this project soon, so please contact me if you are
interested.
