Re: after 162 days (fwd)



If, as Mr. Takahashi  says:

"Modern medical treatment will prolong the life of fatally exposed
person,
but may be not possible to cure him.
This is a sad reality."

I'd like to know how the decision was made to use such extraordinary measures to
prolong "life" with little, if any, hope of recovery.  Did the patient or his
family, give informed consent for all of this?  Personally, if I were the
victim, I would NOT give such consent.
