Advances in Dosimetry Symposium
The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Health Physics
Society and The Radiation Sciences Program, University
of Pittsburgh are presenting a symposium on "Advances in
Dosimetry: Lower Detection Limits - Implications for
Radiation Protection" on April 7, 2000. This symposium
concerns itself with various aspects of radiation
dosimetry ranging from the basics to legal aspects, and
will discuss the possible effects that Landauer's new
LUXEL dosimeter could have on our profession. More
