Knowledge is power. I too have been asked many times why I post some 
of the articles on Radsafe, and more importantly, why do I include a 
larger number of these types of articles, and those that are not 
drivel, but are negative with respect to the nuclear option, in my 
nuclear related news distribution (many I do not post here on 
Radsafe). The answer is, as Don's states, that we professionals need 
to be aware of what the public is seeing in the media, printed or on 
radio/tv. If we are aware of what they see, then we are better 
equipped to respond, take action, motivate and provide training, to 
combat what is accurately assessed as being incorrectly biased, or 
otherwise. If the information is valid, then we need to be able to 
derive processes to correct the situation.

In summary, I'll say it again... Knowledge is power.
