I still wonder why nobody argues against the totally wrong interpretation, that
excess cancer deaths are just that, excess, and that they would not have occurred
without the exposure.
If LNT is true, all that means is that those cancers occurred SOONER than they
would have without the excess radiation. In the case above, something like
a little over 2 years.
