Debunking Fumento

Hello RADSAFERS,

Ole fuming Mike Fumento has been off debunking things for a long time
now----------he has made victims of HIV, GWS and DU, Vietnam Vets and agent
orange, and even sick DOE workers his target of denial. Its almost a
pattern.

There is much information on Fumento's debunking trails in any internet
search----to many he appears the corporation and AMA protector.

The best debunk of Fumentos fumery appeared in the Nashville Tennessean
about a year back---------after he hit on some sick Oak Ridge workers. They
well outlined his past and past Govt connections as well.

He attacked the sick Gulf War vets on the DU issue.

DU is a localized problem-----------------but somehow he tends to leave
out big things like George Bush's oil well use HF to increase
production-----not to mention in the refiniing processes. He also managed
to miss that Oak Ridge and the gas diffusion processes loose a lot of HF.
And he missed all the HF problems around the Al smeling processes that have
injured both environment and man for what is nearing a 100 year history
now-------with cases on the St. Lawrence with Reynolds metals and cases in
East Germany around Sneighburgh, etc.

The internalized fluorine toxic effect simply damages cells and this
damage inceases the concentration in the lymph nodes----------since it is a
halogen element like iodine--------concentration levels comparable to iodine
in the body affect the immune protecion processes, as well as damage the
thyroid, etc. Agent Orange is in the same ball park with chlorine effects.

Fumento fumes a lot-----but is not very useful to exposing problems or
fixing them.

Jim Phelps, near the superfund site of Oak Ridge.
