FWIW: A LONG time ago, I ran a research cobalt irradiator and irradiated many different items for a dozen or so researchers and PhD students. Among them were flower seeds that were shown to change both color and bloom characteristics post-irradiation. Some were rather spectacular in color!
I'm sure that might be interesting to ..... nobody. Oh well.
