KCl is contains radioactive K-40.  Irradiated foods are treated by radiation,
and while all foods contain some trace amounts of radioactive elements, that is
no reason for defining them as irradiated, since the irradiation process does
not make the food any more radioactive as a result.  Unless of course you mean
that the KCl is "self-irradiating".
