Re: List of materials containing naturally occurring nuclides



Gas mantles are still available in Australia.
They make good demonstration sources when travelling to remote sites to
present radiation safety courses by aircraft (no dangerous goods forms
required).

Do you hold your breath when you are replacing the crumbling mantle at the
beginning of that camping trip with the fresh sea breeze blowing the dust up
your nose.
