Re: PVC piping





I agree - it is probably radon attracted from the static charge common to PVC
materials such as this.  We routinely see radon collect on plastic bags, plastic
rope, etc.

Has anyone encountered any natural occurring radioisotopes in the make
up PVC.  We were showing direct alpha with no reasonable explanation for
it to be contaminated with Alpha?  I suppose Radon and its progeny are a
candidate!
