While we don't monitor for contaminated oil, we do use a SAM small 
tool monitor to check every dosimeter received for contamination. The 
calibration includes Cs-137, Co-60, Ba-133 and Na-22. The key is in, 
as you imply, the calibration methodology and the procedures 
followed.
