Norm,

Then how does one explain away the lack of any adverse effects 
from continual higher doses from natural background, such as 
found in Colorado and other areas around the world? If what you 
state (the position of those against any nuclear options) is true, 
then why aren't these negative effects seen when observing a 
natural living population?
